Valpolicella DOC
Valpolicella DOC is a red wine produced in the Valpolicella region of Italy. It is made from a blend of grape varieties, including Corvina,
Rondinella, and Molinara. Valpolicella DOC wines are typically light- to medium-bodied with moderate acidity and tannins. They are known for
their fruity flavors and aromas, including cherry and raspberry.
These wines need to adhere to the following rules:
- Must contain Corvina Veronese (Cruina or Corvina) and/or Corvinone between 45% to 95%.
- Must containe Rondinella from 5% to 30%.
- 25% can contain other grapes allowed in the Verona province of which each for max 10%.
- Must at least age 6 months before being release to the market.
- The superiore veriant Must at least age 1 year before being release to the market.
