Valpolicella

The Italian wine region of Valpolicella is located in the Veneto region of northeastern Italy. It is most known for producing red wines made from the Corvina, Rondinella, and Molinara grape varieties.

The best known wines from this region are Valpolicella DOC (and the Classico and Valpantena variants), Ripasso, Amarone and Recioto della Valpolicella (not to be mistaken by the white variant; Recioto di Soave).
